Crazy Kurling!
Published 31/03/23Our Year 3 and 4 children thoroughly enjoyed their P.E. lesson today as part of Curriculum Enrichment. The children had to use their Maths skills to support them in adding up the points their team members received whilst developing their curling skills! Well done everyone!

Published 31/03/23Ash class have just finished reading Clockwork by Phillip Pullman! It is a carefully crafted tale which keeps you on the edge of your seat, connecting different story lines which all weave and work seamlessly together like the cogs within a clock.

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside!
Published 31/03/23Our Year 2 children thoroughly enjoyed their 'Beside the seaside' workshop. They learnt all about the seaside in Victorian times. The children were able to dress up in Victorian costumes and they also made thaumatropes. They are now very excited to learn all about coastlines!

Atlas work!
Published 29/03/23Our Year 2 children enjoyed looking through atlases as part of their Geography learning this afternoon! We have been learning about the importance of a key on a map and we have explored how keys may look different on a variety of maps.

Inuit Art!
Published 29/03/23Our Year 6 children have been learning about inuit inspired art as part of their unit of work on 'Frozen Kingdom.' The children planned their art and then used clay to create their work. Well done Year 6!

Basketball Tournament
Published 29/03/23Our Key Stage Two children have been taking part in a basketball tournament at lunchtimes and competing with other schools across the county. The children performed admirably and a special mention to Year 4 who came first!

Published 29/03/23Our Year 1 children have been learning to write their own postcards based on the story 'Katie in London.' The children learnt about the features that a postcard has and they drew the front of the postcard too. Well done Year 1!
