Kurling competition!
Published 30/11/22Our school Kurling team took part in a Kurling competition last week and they won! They are looking forward to taking part in the final in a few weeks time. Look how proud they are of their achievement! Well done children!

Learning about Buddhism!
Published 30/11/22Our Year 4 children enjoyed learning about Buddhism last week. Three local monks visited the school to talk to the children about meditation and Buddhism and they showed the children a range of artefacts associated with being a monk.

Rain rain go away!
Published 30/11/22Oak Class have enjoyed exploring the Autumnal weather today. The children sang the nursery rhyme 'Rain, rain go away!' The children have developed their understanding of the world by exploring the environment outside!

Microbit coding!
Published 23/11/22In Code Club this afternoon, the children from Years 3 and 4 enjoyed exploring and coding the microbits for the very first time!
@microbit_edu The children were able to create a piece of code that meant that the microbits were able to spell their names! Well done Code Club!

Learning our names!
Published 23/11/22In Reception this week the children have been building their names out of magnetic letters. The children then had to take a photo of their name using the camera app on the ipads! Well done Reception!

Chestnut's Class Assembly
Published 16/11/22Chestnut class hosted their first class assembly all about Tolerance last week! The children were able to speak about what tolerance means and how we can be tolerant in everyday life. The children ended the assembly with a lovely song too! Well done Year 2!

@FunkyFeetMusic last week! The children worked on a range of bilateral movements which helps them with their balance and develops their gross motor skills! Well done Year 2!

Published 10/11/22Our Reception children have been learning about different celebrations this week. The children have developed their fine and gross motor skills by using hammers to create patterns in the pumpkins! Well done Reception!

Published 10/11/22During their Forest School session this week, the Year 3 developed their teamwork skills. The children used a variety of materials and equipment to make a den in our Forest School area. Well done Year 3!
