Stone Age workshop
Published 31/10/24Our Year 3 children thoroughly enjoyed their Stone Age workshop yesterday which was provided by CLS. The children were able to dress up as Stone Age people as well as explore the different tools and weapons that they would have used during that era. Well done Year 3!

The First Slodge!
Published 09/10/24In Year 2, the children learnt about the story 'The First Slodge'. The children learnt about sharing and caring for each other as part of the story's themes. Their artwork and writing is fantastic! Well done Year 2!

Little People Big Dreams
Published 09/10/24In Year 2 we have been learning about significant individuals. The children enjoyed learning about different people including Neil Armstrong, Rosa Parks and Greta Thunberg. At the end of the topic the children created their own front covers for the Little People Big Dreams series of books. Well done Year 2 they are amazing!

My Princess Boy!
Published 09/10/24Our Year 6 children have been busy learning about the story 'My Princess Boy.' The children were learning about this story as part of their work on No Outsiders. The children understood that everyone is different and that is what makes us special. They created word clouds to represent our school and how welcoming it is. Well done Year 6!

Published 09/10/24Our Year 1 children have been busy learning about Elmer! The children learnt about how they are similar and different from each other, just like Elmer in the story! Well done Year 1!

Published 09/10/24Our Year 3 children have been busy! They have been learning about the book 'Mixed.' The children learnt about the book and its themes such as understanding, love and acceptance and these ideas make the world a better place. The children then created their own pictures and drawings to represent the story.

Published 20/09/24Our Year 2 children have been learning about Greta Thunberg and why she is significant to history and the future. This week the children made placards in the style of Greta Thunberg to inform others about climate change and what we can do as humans to protect our World.

Year 3 and 4 Sports event
Published 20/09/24Inspire Together held a Year 3 and 4 Welcome Back event at Goals earlier this week. 10 of our children attended and they really enjoyed playing a variety of games including dodgeball, football, cricket and taking part in team- building activities.

Our Prefects!
Published 16/09/24This year's prefects have been selected from the three Year 6 Classes. They were selected by the Year 5 and 6 teachers based on a number of different factors, such as being great role models and kind members of our school community. Our head boy and head girl were also chosen.

Sports Ambassadors
Published 16/09/24Our Sports Ambassadors kicked off our leader assemblies this term. They introduced themselves and reviewed what impact they had in the last academic year. The children spoke about their role going forward and encouraged the children to be healthy and to do some exercise outside of school. Well done everyone!
